Engineer Charlie Dale founded Queanbeyan Premix Concrete (QPC) in 2010 after seeing the need for a progressive, reputable and reliable pre mix concrete supplier. QPC’s fleet of trucks and sophisticated batch plants deliver the best ready-mix concrete throughout Canberra Queanbeyan and the region.

Leaving it’s mark on some of the biggest projects in the region such as the Majura Parkway, RMC Duntroon Parade Ground and Ikea.  QPC’s projects are many and varied.

Since launching in 2010 Charlie Dale has been actively involved in the management of QPC and works hard to provide the highest quality and service. Going the extra mile when fulfilling your concrete needs is part of the QPC brand.

The Canberra region's biggest building projects have trusted QPC to provide their foundations.
Here is a selection of our work.

Theodore Reservoir

D&H was responsible for the construction of an access road up to the Reservoir. This was a complex construction with the gradient of road and drains.

Majura Parkway

Fulton Hogan called D&H in to assist in the construction of the Majura Parkway. D&D provided excatavots in all sizes required as well as dozers, bobcats, rollers, graders, trucks and drainers. D&H also provide expert labour.

Googong Dam

D&H was the major Sub Contractor on this joint venture project and were involved in every aspect from Excavation to construction.

D&H was a major Sub-Contractor to the “Cotter - Googong Dam Joint Venture”. The D&H team was involved in all aspects of the project including excavation to the abutments, building access roads, coffer dams and so on.

Duntroon

The parade ground as it is today doesn’t really reflect the extent of the work carried out in order to remove asbestos that was under the parade ground. After removing 2000 ton the parade ground was recreated to the masterpiece it is today.

There was Asbestos buried beneath the Parade Ground at Duntroon requiring specialist attention.

Replacing the Duntroon Parade Ground was quite complex and required the removal of asphalt by gridding the entire area in 5 x 5m grids so that each one could be sampled each grid for asbestos.

Cotter Dam

As the Major Contractor for the Cotter Dam Project, D&H was involved with supplying Kerb, structural and normal concrete.

The large shelters were extended and new lighting, a toilet block and traffic devices added to The Queanbeyan Bus Interchange.
